Are tattoos considered vegan?!

Question: Most tattoo inks are processed with some sort of animal product (usually fat, I think), so people who get tattooed by artists that use those inks are not getting a "vegan tattoo". However, this fact is becoming more commonly known, and as such, there are more strictly vegan tattoo shops and also more regular shops who mix their own inks and are conscious of their customers' wishes.

There are vegan inks out there, ask your tattoo artist if he can get them in for you.
Only if they are of plants.
Ask Jeffery Dahmer.
Most tattoo ink uses animal products (glycerin, I think) but you can request that your artist order vegan inks if they don't stock them. You'll pay extra for the cost of the ink.
