Vegetarian Protein Lunch?!

Question: So at school everyday I have the SAME thing!
I eat whole wheat bread with cheese & vegetarian soy slices..
It tastes like meat..
But it's not.

Anyways.
I make my own lunches
Any suggestion on what I can eat?
I don't eat potatoes, or any processed junk food.

What about a
1) Nut butter & all Natural Jam sandwich, or
2) Hummus with Sprouts(or lettuce), Slice tomatoes Sandwich
3) A nice big Salad that you can make the night before, Take your dressing separate & add just before you eat., add some whole grain crackers to give you some extra carbs.
4) Slices of Avocado, with veggie(like a mini salad) of your choice in a Whole Wheat Pita. This works with the Hummus also.
Add a piece of fresh fruit to all of the above also. Apples travel well.
5) Nut butter as a dip for Apples, Celery, Carrots or other fruits & veggies you like.

I hope this was something that will help you jump start thinking outside the box on your school lunch.
Slainté (to your health)

you can also bring dry cereal, fruit, veggies, a different kind of sandwich, and other stuff. just go to the store and see what appeals to you.

Hummus on whole grain bread. It is a complete protein.

There are loads of sandwich options... tofu bacon, cream cheese w/ cucumber and sprouts, pb&j, hummus, veggie, etc.
Also, if you have access to a microwave, you'll have a lot more options. I usually cook a couple of times a week for lunches and just put them in tupperware in the fridge... pasta w/sauce, soup w/crackers, rice, beans, enchiladas, veggie burgers, etc.
