Becoming a vegitarian?!
Answers: I want to be a vegitarian. And I know you've answered a question or two just like this, but I want to give my exact situtation and have your answer of it. I'm not much of a meat eater, or an anything eater. But I want to try this veggie thing out...See if its right for me you know? I'm also aware that you need both meat and vegatbles, so should I sneak in SOME meat with those veggies?
Take your time transitioning, give up red meat (pork, beef) first, then chicken and fish. Be careful not to become a starch and junk food vegetarian, that is not healthy. Fish is healthier than french fries and donuts. Start adding more fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet. Drink water, not soda, not juice unless it is fresh from a juicer. Fresh greens are important. Eat salads and add baby spinach to your fruit smoothies (frozen bananas, water, dates, vanilla). You do not need animal protein or calcium. Cows eat grass and they are not protein deficient. Gorillas live on greens and fruit, they have plenty of muscle. The dairy and beef industry propaganda is deeply ingrained, but it is wrong. Proteins in plants are easier for humans to use. Rotate grains if you eat them at all, you can become intolerant to wheat over time and it causes gut problems and autoimmune diseases for many people.
Hmm sneak meat into those veggies . No dont .
Theres this "fake meat" you can buy at the store.
Its like regular meat , with everything you need.
But it doesn't have the animal part in it .
Be what you want to be. eat it all if you want to. you dont really need meat you need the protein from it. which you can get from beans and nuts. if you try to sneak meat every now and then it gets harder for you body to process it because it doesnt get exposed to it very often. meaning you eat it and a few hours later you will be saying by to it and I dont mean throw it up.
There are veges that can replace meat's nutrients. Choose the veges over the fake meats. Too much soy can be very unhealthy.
You can be whatever you want, but if you eat any meat you're not a vegetarian. I really don't understand why so many people want the label so badly but don't want to actually follow the definition. Apparently you AREN'T "aware" of anything if you think you "need" meat. Eat what you want, but don't spread more misinformation by calling yourself a vegetarian while you do it.
i wouldnt do it the cow dies either way so why not enjoy
you can choose to be in the group of the vegetarians who still eat chicken or fish.
