Question: How about a topic on bovine flatuation? What is the impact on so-called global warming?

Get a life...

Odds are the people coming to your BBQ are already aware if it's at your house and they're your friends.

I would LOVE to BUT have a note from my mum to excuse me .Peace & love.

i dont think many meat eaters will care how their children survive after they have died

can you tell me exactly what the effects are of eating meat on global warming? also to the person who said that 'meat eaters' won't care what happens to thier children in the future explain this comment? thanks x

How is eating meat even closely related to global warming. It is people like you and that idiot that made the child comment that make me hate tree huggers.
You want people to respect your beliefs start respecting others. If we were not intended to eat meat we ******* wouldn't .

And if we stopped eating meat then you would start b****ing about over population.

BBQ is immoral. You need to become a vegan who only eats things that have fallen off the the vine. To harm life in any way is immoral.

NEW ID ALERT!!!

No we are all aware of it already, maybe a topic BBQ to discuss the dangers of unfermented soy to your bodies?

Shall I bring the steak and beer?
Vegetarians who force their view on others suck.

Just to answer "pop" and "lillirishgirl"

you asked "can you tell me exactly what the effects are of eating meat on global warming?" and "how is meat related to global warming"

Here you go:

methane ( 23 times more global warming effect than CO2) from commercial cows accounts for 37% of the worlds methane output

Dairy and beef rearing accounts for 67% of the world output of Nirous oxide. This has a warming potential cotient of 296 ( yep, 296 ) times that of CO2

Goverment figures from "Farming Link" - July 2007. The article identifies beef and dairy as the 2 largest food issues in relation to global warming.

Not scare mongering, not PETA or veggie society figures, no hippies.....these are from the goverment in a report for farmers.
