Question: Thanks in advance

Answers: Thanks in advance

fish oils do contain good stuff only if you eat em raw & if they havnt been factory farmed or full of toxic mercury as alot of fish is

hemp oil is the best for humans along with flax oils
both are excellent and have great benefits
good for pets too

Flax seed oil.

I eat a lot at Thai restaurants and always have to tell them "no fish sauce", even with items listed as vegetarian. (though a couple places I go have stopped putting that in). I'm not sure that they actually substitute with something else, or if they just leave it out.

From doing some searching on google, however, the suggestion is to use a light soy sauce for a substitute.

Also from about.com:
"What Can Vegetarians use as a Substitute for Fish Sauce?: Vegetarian fish sauce exists - and it's quite good! So far I've yet to find it in a Thai food store, but nearly all the Vietnamese food stores carry it. Sometimes it's difficult to tell whether a store is Vietnamese-owned or Chinese, Thai, etc... - you just have to go in and poke around, and don't be shy to ask for it. Some store owners will order it in for you if they don't have it. What are ingredients of Vegetarian Fish Sauce? They vary, but usually it's a mixture of soy beans, salt, sugar, water, chili, and citric acid as a preservative (since this type isn't fermented)"

Flax seeds or flax seed oil for ALA.

Some have DHA added or you can get vegan DHA pills.

The DHA comes from blue-green algae.

flax seed oil, and evening primrose oil I think. They both have essential fatty acids.
