Deoderants?!
Answers: What are some deoderants that are sold at Target or Wal*Mart that are cruelty free? I currently use Teen Stick...The ones they sell are Teen Stick, Secret, Dove, Degree, and more.
Check out the "Tom's of Maine" line of products...or it just may be "Toms", they have been around for many years. All natural line of toothpaste, deodorant, etc. I've seen them in Walmart. His products are excellent and once you try his toothpaste & get used to it (no sacharin) you'll never want to use another. Also, if you see any products by Dr. Bronner...same thing, excellent quality and cruelty free. His peppermint-oil liquid soap is the best you'll ever use and you can use it for all your body care cleaning needs.
Jason Natural products are now available at Walgreens and Kmart.
Tom of Maine products are widely available and they are cruelty free.
If you go into places like Whole Foods, they have many products that are cruelty free like Kiss My Face, Jason, etc.
Natures gate has a great vegan deoderant in a number of yummy scents. If you have a hard time finding vegan products, check out some speciality stores (ie health food stores, usually have tons of products to choose from.
Toms of Main has a nice apricot toothpaste, took a day to get used to it, and now I'm hooked.
I think it would be more cruel to your fellow human beings if the stuff doesn't work.
i love the toms of maine toothpaste, but as far as their deodorant goes, i wouldnt buy it again. it works fine to neutralize odors, but there is no antiperspirant in it so my underarms always felt rather sticky from the consistency of the stick. unfortunately i havent been able to find a cruelty-free deodorant that is also an antiperspirant.
ah! watch out for toms of maine, they claim to be all into sustainability and non animal testing and stuff...but then the all mightly dollar took over and they allowed themselves to be bought out by colgate! colgate is a huge animal tester, and any money you spend on toms of maine goes right back into the parent companies pocket aka colgate. i use mitchum, its owned by revlon, a non animal tester. the jason stuff is also good, i get that at london drugs or pharmasave. secret is proctor and gamble=animal tester, dove is animal tested and so is degree. not sure about teen stick but i would bet it is.
I highly recommend Crystal deodorant. I order mine through drugstore.com.
i never even knew that deodorants had used cruelty in them?
