Aaaah!

I always get mine in the grocery store. Stop&Shop always has hummus. I also get it at Trader Joes.

Whole Foods

at the grocery store

I've never been to a grocery store that didn't have it, even the cheapest, low-grade grocery stores. Just look in the refrigerated sauces area for the premade hummus, and go for some pitas in the bread area.

Or you could buy sesame seeds and chickpeas and make the hummus yourself - but that seems like a lot of work.

where cant you buy hummus?

poor dude, where are you living where you cant get hummus?!

at any grocery stores

any super market

EVERYWHERE ! : )

you can made hummus at home, it's really easy.

1 can of chick peas, drained
2 tbsp. of tahini
1/2 of a small yellow onion
2-3 cloves of garlic (to taste)
1 tsp. of lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp. dried parsley
olive oil

Place all the ingredients except for the olive oil in the bowl of your food processor. As it is running, add a thin stream of olive oil until you reach the consistency that you like.

I don't know where you live, but I get it at Albertson's Grocery store. There are more than one flavor.
You can also make it yourself. All I do is buy a 14 oz. can of Garbonzo (Chickpeas) beans, Mash it with a blender or a potato masher. When it is the right consistancy, add what ever flavors YOU like. I add garlic salt, onion salt, 2 Tbs. lemon juice 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable stock.
For extra flavor and thickness, add 3 Tbs. tahini (sesame paste).
For more flavor and color, chop in a 1/2 bell pepper.(optional)
It's very simple
Good Luck,

I can get mine at the wall mart. Not always the humas, which is just carbonzo beans(chickpeas)and spices. The pita bread is in the deli section at the wall mart

Seriously!! I Live in nowhere - mid Ameria and all grocery stores carry both pita bread and hummus.

Anyway, if you still can't find these things get some bread or crackers and make your own hummus. You don'teven have to cook it and there are thousands of recipes online.

no biggie

you shop at walmart so I'm suprised you can feed yourself without help.

Any ethnic grocery store should have it. If not, try Albertsons Safeway etc
