i've never heard of this, but i'm about to go try it!

Yes, I saw it on the discovery network.

...I hope not...

Uh NO idiots ever watch myth busters who have already proved this WRONG.

Not any Pig meat you can buy at the store will do this, but the Coke will eat the fat and the fat will rise. But thanks for the Joke that was funny

It's hard to believe that a person would have to go to this forum to find out the answer to this question.
Of course not! Luckily, you don't have to reveal your real name.

Pork is known for carrying parasites, but that doesn't sound plausible.

Only if there were worms in it to begin with. Pork in the grocer's have to meet certain standards in order to be sold, so no, there are not worms crawling around in pork in general.

i saw a video of that happening somewhere online. . .pretty gross.

You Betcha!

This should clear it up.

http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/porkworm....

wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

i will never understand how people can be snippy with you...

no. look up spontaneous generation.

Eh?! I'm never eating pork ever again.

Dear, trinchinosis has been eradicated in the pork supply of modern countries. And the Coke thing is a myth.
