I cannot cook at all but I want to go vegetarian. Any really, really easy recipes?!
Answers: I mean really simple like "peanut butter and jelly" simple. I want to go veg not because I like animals, but because I hate plants. That was a joke but I really do want some very simple recipes. I need to figure out what I'm going to eat.
There are quite a few recipes that are fairly simple to do. You should get some of the recipes books that are made for teenage vegetarians, the recipes in these books are pretty quick and simple.
You could also browse through recipes online and use the more simple ones you find.
Three of my simpler recipes:
Crunchy Vegetable Wraps
4 Tbsp. Tofutti cream cheese, your favorite flavor (or any nondairy cream cheese)
4 10-inch flour tortillas
1 cup shredded spinach
1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup sliced avocado
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup diced cucumbers
2 Tbsp. finely diced red onion
Salt and pepper, to taste
-Spread one tablespoon of cream cheese over each tortilla.
-Sprinkle an even amount of the remaining ingredients on each wrap; roll up.
Cucumber Hummus Sandwich
2 slices bread
Dijon mustard
leaf lettuce
1/2 cup hummus
thinly sliced cucumber
sliced tomato1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon grated dairy free parmesan cheese
-Spread both slices of bread with dijon mustard.
-Place lettuce on one slice of vegan bread.
-Spread the hummus on the lettuce. (This prevents the bread from getting soggy if you take the sandwich to work).
-Lay the cucumber slices on top of the hummus and the tomato slices on top of the cucumber.
-Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes.
-Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over all.
-Close the sandwich, cut in half, and enjoy.
Rice Burgers
2 Cups Rice
? Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Cup Mixed Vegetables (Finely Chopped)
Salt/Pepper to taste
Cook rice according to package.
Mix rice, bread crumbs, vegetables and seasoning.
Form six flat patties.
Rice. Steamed veggies. Fruit. Smoothies. Convenience foods from the freezer section of the store. Veggie dogs. Veggie burgers. Veggie Crumbles (in tacos or spaghetti,) Taco bell. Middle eastern restaurants. Asian food. BK. Beans. Chips & Salsa. Sandwiches. Guacamole. Hummus & pita. The list never ends. It's not hard, read labels.
Try making salads. throw a bunch of fruit and vegies in a bowl and mix them together.
The stuff for this recipe is out of season now, but next spring/summer it will be delicious. All you have to do it cut things up.

I know you might not actually be a teenager, but the idea is that it teaches you the basics of cooking and contains simple recipes.
Oh DEAR! You are in quite a predicament? Can't cook and "going" veggie where you have to be sure about getting the right amount of this or that, can't go to just any restaurant, or buy just any food, or really have to look for variety or you'll be eating the same old veggie crap.
You better rethink this dear, or have bags, and bags of money to buy all this processed veggie-crap that "tastes like" "normal" food.
Just about any recipe in any recipe book can be modified by removing or substituting the meat. Just use your common sense. For example, if you have a recipe for chicken pasta, it would be just as good without the chicken.
