If we could get all resturants to serve only vegan food?!
Answers: Do you think most people would stop eating meat and we could finally create the uptopia I have been talking about? Most people are lazy and do not like to cook. So I think we need to start with the resturant industry first. Who agrees?
If that happened I'd start eating people.
You'd be first, Ashley.
*Disclaimer*
I know she's not serious. I just envisioned what I'd do if this actually happened.
EDIT:
Meat is not the reason obesity's on the rise. Gluttony is.
I used to blame McDonald's and Fast Food, but that's not true. when you eat 5000 calories in a day and don't exercise at all, don't be surprised when you weigh 600 Lbs and little kids run screaming at the sight of you.
I'm sure I could become Obese eating veg*n products, if I ate enough of them.
I think america likes their beef to much and sadly the restauraunts would fail and go out of business. There is no way america would stop eating me we love it to much. It's a staple in homes and that's some of the reason we're overweight. Even so it'd be impossible to get all restauraunts to stop serving meat.
I disagree, my species didn't climb up to top predator status on the food chain to not eat steak. Sorry.
just like you cant force one religion on everyone, you cant force everyone to eat what you do. get real, it wont ever happen.
Luckily for us the Utopia you envision is not shared by the majority of people who much prefer to have that funny old concept called Free Will.
And BTW, laziness is failing to grasp other people's standpoint and mindlessly eating tofu and believing that you have the moral high ground.
What a crock....
I love to cook.
You and your buddies should go find a deserted island to live on. Then you would have your utopia and we would be free of your crazy rantings.
A utopia of vegetables? That would mean a shortage of ranch dressing! And are you saying that you do not cook your veggies because of an apathetic attitude, just eat them straight from the ground? Nah! There's nothing wrong with being carnivore. 'Cuse me, I'll be at the Outback Steakhouse.
I think that if meat were suddenly discontinued from restaurant menus, there would be a massive influx of people to Texas and Central United States, where the meat comes from. These people would have ready access to the meat market, and would become very protective of their livestock. There would also be a large, underground market for meat, similar to the prohibition in the early 20th century. In fact, your idea of discontinuing meat from restaurants (lets just say outlawing it all together) would create enormous crimes problems and lead to more deaths and injuries from violence than it would create happy, health individuals who eat food food.
I would be one of the people ready to fight anyone who would care to take away my food.
Besides, isn't a utopia a place where everyone can live in harmony? And if your "utopia" just causes more violence and strife, is it a utopia at all?
Just because that's what you think would be utopia doesn't mean you can force it on everyone. Get real and get off your high horse.
I never agree with you.
PEOPLE PLEASE stop treating this Ashley like she is for real. She is a meat-eater who has a vendetta against vegetarians, and tries to pretend to be vegan on this forum and give vegans a bad name.
PLEASE do not take her seriously
i agree...but there's always some person who votes against it...and gets it their way. either good or bad!..it's been like that through history ....yes it's not that we are lazy to cook it's just hard to find the time....especially if you have a family of 5 or more ...you know? and if your belief would come true i don't think they'll be such thing as obesity ...seriously!
Utopia? Sounds more like the 3rd realm of hell to me.
i think we should, but people are still going to eat meat
I think there should be SOME vegan resturaunts but I don't think we should force it on others. Most resturaunts will cater to a vegan and don't force meat on vegans so why force our way of eating on others?
You've been talking about an "uptopia"? How'd I miss that?
People wouldn't stop eating meat, they'd stop going to restaurants. BTW I love to cook :-)
Go away.
Do you actually realize what would happen if nobody ate meat anymore? The world would be overpopulated with animals and then they would end up probably getting sick and dying anyway. There is no way that the resturant industry would ever do this. It is a ridiculous idea.
If every church turned Catholic would people change their religions?
Nope. People would just burn down the resturants.
I hate that there are no restaurants around here with good vegan menu items. However, I would not want all the restaurants to serve ONLY vegan foods. Why not both? A vegan society is not necessarily a utopian society.
If you tried to get all restaurants to serve only vegan food, I would probably kill a deer myself, butcher it right in front of you and have myself a nice breakfast of chipped venison and eggs have a lunch of venison pie with venison gravy, snack on venison chicharrones and for a nice, lovley dinner, eat a nice, juicy venison steak just so I can taunt your nazilike behavior. I would gladly betray my vegetarian habits just to mock you.
