I want to eat light suppers?!

Question: because I have a very sedentary job on the phones and tend to gain weight if I eat heavy suppers but I am always starving when I get off work and my blood sugar gets low and I don't feel good (sometimes rather crabby). Some suggest eating fruit but it just doesn't help me feel better. Any suggestions? Oh and I'm a vegan and lactose interolent.

Eat a couple of bowls of soup at night if you don't want to put on weight, but feel very hungry. It fills you up, especially if it's hot. Have toasted/fried bread, or other crunchies by the side. It always helps if it's home-made, and has lots of veggies... fills you up better than clear soup, and is healthier too.

I think a big salad with nuts and dried fruits. Yum. Tortilla stuffed with roasted veggies, soy cheese.

I agree with J Lu and eat some nuts, but what else would I say? I am a squirrel and squirrels love nuts. lol

Nuts are good for you, I suggest you try an apple with peanut butter on it. It fills you up and gives you energy galore. Salads fill you up too and can be a good source of energy. Give it a try. God bless

Have a snack at work in the afternoon. That's what I do to keep my girlish figure...

Put avocado on your salads or sandwiches and then you'll get some extra protein and the healthy fats will help fill you up.
