Answers: Portabella mushrooms. I like mine with teriyaki sauce that I mix myself.

A juicy slab of tofu. . .mmmmmhhh

a juicy hunk of tofu

Grilled Portabello mushroom

I would say tofu! = D

I haven't tried it cause it looks like cheese and I'm allergic..= [ rofl

A grilled portabello mushroom. It actually tastes better than steak, mmm. You should try it. They call it the vegetarians meat.

for me it is a veggie burger or a veggie hot dog

a fantastic salad, very colorful one with dark green leafy things, tomatoes, all 3 colors of peppers, and maybe a few other nice veggies!

I would say a fruit salad because it is so flavorful with all the different types of fruit in it. Steak if flavorful so, this is what I could think of.

I agree with the person who said a portobello mushroom :) They are tres yummy if done right.

If something reminds you of a murdered animal while you're eating, doesn't that defeat the purpose?

I've been a vegetarian since I was 8. The thought of a juicy steak is literally making me cringe! I don't want anything that is even sort of similar to steak! There are fake steak strips made by Morningstar that taste a lot like steak and that's why I hate them.

A delicious "Organic tomato" or a nice ripe strawberry.

There isn't one. But if you mean what gives you the same kind of feeling as when someone says 'I really fancy a juicy steak'? Then for me, it's fake crispy aromatic duck.... mmmm, drooling just thinking of it!

A big juicy hunk of tasty, yummy tofu. I'm not a vegetarian, but I love that stuff. I actually don't eat pork and beef but I don't call myself a vegetarian. Still, tofu is good and good for you. Vegetarian or not, everyone should eat it!

I'm sure there's a meat-substitute steak out there.

My sister's got lots of vegetarian "meats", and when I eat at her house, I forget that the BBQ "rib strips" aren't meat, and so I always overcook them.

either a tempeh steak or a BBQ'd portabella mushroom with butter and garlic

maybe some tofu..or a salad...tofu isn't all that good...trust me...i was vegetarian for a couple years...ihave alot of vegetables...so i guess anything non-meat

If by "satisfaction" you mean taste, fullness and texture, I would say seitan is the best. It is extremely hearty, and (if you want it to) can be made to taste and feel just like beef or chicken. That's not why I like it, though. I just like it because it is so tasty, substantial, and healthy. If anyone here hasn't tried seitan, you should.

For me, I like to take some seitan I've made, slice it up, dip it in soy milk, dredge in a flour/nutritional yeast/seasoning mix and fry it up in oil. Yummy! If I'm not lazy, I'll make some veggie gravy and pour it on top. Sometimes I'll marinate the seitan instead and fry it up or grill it.

Vegetable curry.....yummmmmmmmm!!!

Definitely grilled portobello mushrooms. I don't know if they taste better than steak like the other answerer said but they are very good. having them WITH a steak is a great combo.

There IS no equivalent. As for "Fred M" remarking about murdered animals, does that mean cut up with a knife, etc. Well veggies are cut up with a knife, so does that mean you eat murdered veggies?

All kidding aside however, there is no equivalent. Meat has a totally different taste and texture than veggies. Just don't let anyone put you down because you're a vegetarian.

Nothing compares to a juicy steak

Maybe some maple leaves or grass clippings.

what they said

Nothing..... no fake food or vegi can even compare to a nice steak

100% good ol' Chuck burgers of the U.S fast food systems!!!

Nothing is equivalent to a juicy steak. It triumphs over all. Maybe instead you could have extra ice cream?

Nothing can match the flavor and textures of a juicy slab of dead cow.

There isnt one, I feel bad for you. Now lets go get something to eat. Tell me this, do you not eat meat because you think its cool not too, your trying some weird diet, or your religion prohibits it?
