Question: what happened to golden wonder crisps, are they still about anywhere.

Answers: what happened to golden wonder crisps, are they still about anywhere.

Golden Wonder were taken over by Walkers a few years ago, check out the packets of Wotsits and Quavers, they now say Walkers. They kept the big sellers and got rid of the rest. I was explaining this to my boyfriend the other day when he mistook a packet of green hula hoops for salt and vinegar. Golden Wonders green was always cheese and onion and blue was salt and vinegar, Walkers was the other way round. Hula hoops are still the GW way even though Walkers make them now. The Golden Wonder factory has closed down, I come from the town where it was and my gran used to work there. I miss the smell of the "crispie", it always made me hungry. Guess I'll have to move to Leicester!!!

Last time I saw them was a week ago, in the cantine of South Devon College.

Passed them hoofing it down the M1

a few old shops still stock them, look out for the ancient cornershops and you may get lucky

I live in Glasgow and they still sell them in most shops here.

i think golden wonder has gone into collaboration with walkers!

Hopefully not.

Try "Seabrooks".
