No - Masterfoods are not veggie friendly. When all this blew up and they were interviewed they were utterly contemptuous of veggies saying that most of them eat fish anyway.
They also refuse to put suitable for vegetarians on the products that are.
There are alternatives to every Masterfood product, I have avoided them ever since.
The only reason they gave in over the rennet affair was because of the fantastic uprising from vegetarians. They realised how many customers they would lose and how much it was going to cost them. They did NOT do it out of any sense of commitment to or respect for vegetarians.
I think we should all boycott them and hit them where it hurts, while supporting other manufacturers who do bother to let us know whether we can eat their products or not!

i hope so, mars bars are damb nice, hang on, i will find out...

EDIT: yes, woo hoo, the nicest chocolate bar is still veggie...

You have to check the use by dates.

See the link below for the relevant dates.

I have to say that I haven't bothered buying any of their chocolate since the change as I lost faith in them.

They are supposed to be labelling them as vegetarian soon but that is not in force yet.

They WERE putting animal rennet in some of their Mars bars in the UK. I am scared to EVER eat one again!!!

I think that Mars bars are okay now but you may want to avoid the products listed on this website:
