Does sea weed have salt?!
Answers: I can't eat salt, so I was wondering if the sea weed one buys to make sushi has salt.. ingredients just say "sea weed"
Usually seaweed has no added salt or anything if only 'seaweed' is listed on the ingredients.
Let me further inform you though, that salt is not salt these days. You see, that white salt you know that looks like little cubes is actually not salt. It is 'Table Salt'. Very bad for you. It's a pure chemical usually with all kinds of other junk added in there too. Very high is sodium.
On the other hand, sea salt, or mineral rock salt, or Utah ancient sea salt is real salt. Low in sodium but bursting with flavour.
Anyway, the amount of salt (sodium) in natural seaweed is very small.
yeah it has some salt content
Yep...
the sea salty yeah. so yes it does have loads of salt
Its called sea salt, and its supposed to be better for you, but if you cant eat salt, you should ask your doctor.
You can't have any at all?
It probably contains small amounts of sodium but there is no actual salt added to it.
This site does not list nori but compare the sodium content of these other varieties of sea vegetables.
