Mash it up and put in a little lemon juice.

Throw it away, and buy a different one that's actually ripe.

Keep it in a brown paper bag overnight and it should ripen up. Also, bananas produce a hormone which helps ripen other fruits and vegetables, put it near some bananas and that should ripen it up too. You'll probably have to wait a day for it to get ripe.

Let it sit out in the open....

keep it in dark no air place...like a paper bag for 3 days...once soft use immediately.

here what I suggest THROW IT OUT

sit it on the window sill.

There is no way since you cut it. If it was uncut, it could have gone in a paper bag with a banana or by itself.

leave it on the counter for a day then check it

Put it in a food bag with a banana...

put it in a bag with a bananna. The gasses given off by the bananna will cause it to ripen fairly quickly.

You have to let it sit in some light. I know this for a fact because I work in a produce department.

put your green avocadoes in a brown paper bag on the counter. Wait a couple of days and recheck them. they should be getting close to or should be ripe. good luck

You can not ripen an avocado that is cut already

put it on the dashboard of your car. you'll be amazed.

try putting some lemon juice on it, but i doubt sewriously if it will ripen. Next time put it in a brown bag until it starts to get soft or when u buy it, make sure it has some give to it.

o my flipin gosh u cut it b4 it was ripe... when there kinda soft that means there ripe

This make alter the color, but, you could probably microwave it for a minute. A really ripe avocado is soft when gently squeezed. A cut avocado will turn black if left out and will not ripen in a refrigerator.

Put it in a brown paper bag to increase speed of ripening.

Too late for that.

Next time hold it across your palm. Squeeze gently with the lower parts of your fingers, not the tips. If it "gives" a little it is ready.

Never squeeze with your finger tips.

The reason so many avocados have nasty bruised spots is people squeeze them with their finger tips or the guys in the store handle them too roughly.

Set it in a sunny window for a day or two. Since it is already cut, wrap it in a piece of plastic to avoid collecting dust and flies.

put it in a brown paper bag and close it up. it should ripen In a couple of days.keep a check on it everyday.

once you cut..make guacamole......next time make sure it has semi soft ends...then take spatula to help peel the skin ..enjoy, my favorite is olive oil w/ a little garlic salt

Put it in a brown paper bag with a banana, and it will ripen in a day. The banana gives off a natural ripening agent. I have to say, though, that buying avocados to ripen in a certain amount of time is always hit or miss. And the small blackish ones are better.

Since it's cut , it probably will rot.
If you hadn't cut it you could put it in a brown paper bag or wrap it in news paper and lay it in i cool place for a few days it would ripen. You can try it anyway, it might work.

it wont be ripe anymore since you already cut it.
