If you are any type of vegeterian, what are the reasons you do not eat red meat?!

Question: I don't want to gain pleasure from pain... I don't think an animal should have to suffer and die just so my tastebuds have a few moments of pleasure. I can't expect to be happy when my lifestyle choices are a result of so much misery. Giving up meat was the best decision I ever made... I've never been happier!

An animal had to be killed period. I don't eat anything that had a face.

Becoz it is a kind of Meat .Simple !

I just became a vegetarian like out of the blue a week and a half ago but before that I never ate any red meat. The reason I didn't was because i'm very health conscious and red meat just isn't very good for your health.

For starters, the saturated animal fat in red meat contributes to heart disease and atherosclerosis. Recent research also shows that frequent red meat eaters face twice the risk of colon cancer as those who indulge less often. Red meat is also thought to increase the risks of rheumatoid arthritis and endometriosis.

I just don't want to die early... I don't have kids yet, but when I do have them I want to be with them for a LONG time.

Vegetarians don't eat any kind of meat. Meat is animal! The book of Genesis says (1st chapter: I have given thee every herb and fruit bearing seed let be thy meat! Also it says we are made custodians over everything that groweth and creepeth upon thee earth.. ye may partake of the plants of the field but woe unto thee if thou partake of any thing that creepeth upon thy earth!
This is all in my bible.. Printed in Britain and distributed to 7th day adventists! Version?
Prince James! By many Pastors is deemed more accurate than the Kings James Version! Main reason I became vegetarian was the cost of meat.. one day I went into store and a pkg of weiners was $2.49 at that price I said I'm gonna be a vegetarian.. I heard someone say goodluck!
Well I didn't be a complete vegetarian right away.. the hardest thing to give up was fish! But the mercury poisionings found in fish was a help in my giving up fish! For quite awhile I was semi vegetarian eating veggies and fish.. I wrongly called myself vegetarian then and was corrected by many vegetarians and vegans. But once I became a total vegetarian I noticed I got healthier. I also got into herbs.. Robert Shuller's Herbal booklet was the first herb book I ever read! A Yellow covered booklet with a black plastic binding! Well becoming vegetarian was the wisest decision I ever did for myself!

If it came form an animal it's not eaten by me. If it had a face a also don't eat it. I care for animals son much. they are a large part of my life.

I don't eat any kind of meat. I don't eat any animal. Cause that's the definition of vegetarian - a human who does not eat meat.

I don't need meat.
Meat is not good for me.
I am not 'designed' for animal consumption.
Animal suffering is not top of my list.
Top of my list is ME.
I'm #1 and I don't like to put stuff in me that doesn't belong.
Humans are herbivores. The end.
