berries are very high on the list of fruit as an excellent source of the phytochemical carotenoids and flavonoids with vitally important antioxidant protection. Cantaloupe, oranges, grapefruit, papaya, pineapple, kiwi, guava and grapes are all also excellent choices. Apples and bananas, the two most popular, though nutritious, provide very little antioxidant protection.
Excellent healthy veggie choices include the dark green leafy carotenoid and cruciferous varieties – spinach, kale, swiss chard and romaine lettuce, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, cauliflower and cabbage. Other particularly healthy choices are tomatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, beans, garlic and onions. Even though the popular corn and white potatoes, like apples and bananas, have some food value, they’re high in calories and low in antioxidant protection.
Pears are great. Try Brusell Sprouts to. :)
Fruit-apricots, peaches, pinapples, strawberrys, and drapes.
Vegetables-Spinach, cauliflower, asparagus.
hello, did u know that cantelope is a natural diuretic? so i would add cantelope to your good fruit list. also did u know that any vegetable that grows in the ground is high in carbs? so i would eat any kind of vegetable that grows above the ground for a healthy diet or just healthy eating. if u eat bread during the day then u shouldn't eat a potatoe that day cuz it's high in carbs so it will turn to fat. also carrots are high in sugar & so are peas. but it wouldn't hurt u if u r already in shape or not over weight. just thought i'd share with u some of the good fruits & veggies.

They say that blueberry is the new superfood. There was a long list of things that it’s been proven to help. When you can’t get fresh blueberries- get them frozen. Easy to add to cereal. Best is a frozen drink- add a banana, ? cup of ice, ? cup of milk. Yum! I usually add a pack of Carnation Inst breakfast powder and that makes a yummy and nutritious drink. Oranges? You don’t like oranges or tangerines? They’re available year-round. For apples- get a apple corer/divider. OXO makes one- less than 10 bucks- you push it down on the apple- and presto you have 8 perfect slices ready to eat. I’m in the drive-thru a lot for Happy Meals- so I get the apple slices there too.
Veggies- other than those you mentioned- I like green beans, sautéed spinach, steamed asparagus. This is super easy and yummy- frozen Green Giant creamed spinach- cook in microwave- put on plate and then add your favorite cheese. (you can put in the microwave for another minute if you want- I usually don’t). This makes a great dip for Tostitos. Now, this isn’t really all that healthy- but hey, you’re still eating spinach and it’s a veggie.
