Vegan trick or treating options?!
So im asking two questions-
Should i call ppl in adavance and ask them to buy dairy/gelatin free prodcuts for me or i egg their door?
Or
just sell the sweets like last 2 years?
Also vegans n veggies- Do you only give out vegans n vegiie sweets for trick or treat?
Answers: I am 14 yo ovo-vegie(i eat eggs but not meat or dairy). I also eat honey. And last year which was my first haloween as a ovo-vegie and my 2 nd halloween as non-dairy consumer. I got lots of sweets that contained milk.I didn't eat then but put them away on both halloween and last year i put away the gelatin ones too. I froze most of them and sold them throught the year and manged to make $36. I know some vegan or veggie hosueholds who give out only vegan and veggie sweets to others. Most of my food-products which i got that were vegan or veggie freindly were from these ppl. I told some pople i knew i was coming to their house for trcik or treat and they made bought some vegan sweets for me escpeically.

Even before I became a vegetarian I gave out healhy options such as Animal crackers (yes they are vegetarian), granola bars, and raisens. I don't like contributing to kids obesity and diabetes so I stick to things that are for the most part healthy.
First off I'm an omnivore, but respect the food choices that everyone makes as it's going into their body, not mine. I have to say if you're so against any animal products, selling them for your own profit seems very hypocritical; by selling them, you're endorsing them. No one should have to work around your diet either and egging them again endorses the idea that you think eggs are o.k. for consumption.
I go trick or treating with friends when I go, so I just let them keep the sweets. I only give you vegan sweets, yes, because I don't want to buy non-vegan products.
You cannot place an order for what you would like during trick or treating that is just rude. If you get caught in this day and age egging you will have to deal with the police..is that worth it? and how would you like someone doing that to you? Being veg you should understand first hand how very rude and disrespectful others can be about you choices why would you want to be just as bad?
Sort out what you don't eat and give it away. Who buys leftover Halloween candy from a kid anyway?
Both egging and TPing are encouraged.
To be honest, you should give up on going Trick Or Treating altogether.
