Answers: I am a vegetarian for moral reasons. just interested to know why you are :-)

Yep. Cause of the HORRIBLE way they are treating animals *shudders*

Moral and health

ME cuz I love animals and I want to stay healthy.

no, i eat meat becaus ewe humans have something called incisors,a nd they rip apart meat in your mouth, and meat tastes great!!!!!!

im vegetarian cuz i love animals and i think its wrong to kill them for their meat and bones and fur and that stuff. fur just makes people look dumber! it doesnt make them look hotter! peta rules!!!

Moral reasons and cause at 12 i wanted to and was stubborn and went on a food strike and locked myself iin my room till my mum agreed to klet me. Funny thing is i think she only let me because my dad must have said "oh let her shell only last a cuople days " and its six years on now.

I'm not - I'm a meat lover! But I still love fruit and some vegetables.

i started out completely for moral reasons: i saw a cattle farm that made me so sad, at that moment i decided i could never eat those poor animals again. in thinking of that, i realized it's not fair to put the value of one animal's life above another's; therefore i could never eat any animal in good conscience.
since then, i've researched a lot and realize just how GROSS it is, and unhealthy in almost every situation.
so it's totally both!!

Partially, and because eating dead animals just grosses me out. Also health reasons.

I am a vergetarian because I want to live healthy and know that I'm saving animals from getting killed.

moral reasons. i saw factory farming and it sickened me. also i eat wonderful healthy food that isnt knee deep in fat.

I was a vegetarian for a while but i gave it up. My friends always went on at me and i just found it awkward. I really want to be vegetarian because i see it cruel to animals even though it's not natural for humans. Anyway i was vegetarian because i just hated the thought of killing animals.

For me it started as moral reasons after a friend made me watch a film called "Earthlings." After realizing what i was actually eating, I couldn't look at meat the same anymore. Then i started to recognize all the health benefits from it. I'm currently making the transition to vegan. You can watch "Earthlings" on youtube in 3 parts. I'll leave links.

I am a vegetarian in some ways, I eat chicken and turkey but no red meat but I eat fish. I am a half vegetarian because I don't wanto become enimec from not eating enough protein but I am a vegetarian to save the animals and for healthiness.

Me. I prefer my animals alive.

I am a vegetarian because don't like the feeling of meat sticking between my teeth. and meat are hard to digest and stay in the body for 1 day. I feel much better as a vegetarian & eat more nutritional food now.

I am a vegetarian. Don't like the idea of killing animals for food. Also I never liked steak or burgers.

I am a vegetarian because of cruelty to animals and health reasons. Actually, I am a vegan. Same reasons, though. =)

because i want to live longer. it takes meat 24 hrs to digest! in the mean time it is rottening in your stomach...thats why when you poop, it stinks. ever since i became vegeterian my poop doesnt stink anymore...

I'm a vegetarian because i wanted to be a rebel and be different from my family. Also becasue I felt bad about eating animals. It was gross.

I'm a vegetarian. Been so for 8 years now.
Moral reasons (love animals), personal taste reasons (never liked meat much) + health reasons.

Health reasons. Heart disease is extremely prevalent in my family (4 out of 6 siblings in my father's family). If I want to see the effects of eating a fatty "meat and potatoes" type diet, all I have to do is visit my father. He has had 2 heart attacks and 1 stroke from the plaque that has clogged up in his arteries and veins.

He has scars lining his body from the surgeries to the point that he looks like Frankenstein. He no longer has a short-term memory due to the stroke and gets lost and forgets what he was doing while driving to the store. He can't be trusted to go out by himself.

He's in his early 60s.

No thanks. I'll pass on that future. I'll have the veggie plate.

That I'm not eating dead animal flesh is a bonus though. It IS rather gross and I don't like animals to suffer. When I look at meat now I think of my cat and how I would feel if it were he that went though what the animal did...not a nice thought.

health.. and i cant imagine biting into something that once walked the earth moving and alive. something that had blood running through its veins just like me.
