Vegan alternative to eggs?!
Answers: I am ovo-veggie(i eat eggs and hunny but no meat/dairy). I'm going trick or treating later today and 2 of my freinds coming dont use eggs and im just wondering is there are any vegan alternatives to eggs that we can use to throw at the doors at the people of the houses that dont give us any candy? Also what should i do with the candy that has gelatin n dairy in it? Do you think 14 is tto old to trick or treat?
Okay, while 14 isn't too old (as long as you wear a real costume), you should know better than to want to commit acts of vandalism. The naughty angel on my shoulder is suggesting Silly String, but I don't know if that's vegan, as I haven't seen a can in years.
If you get candy with ingredients you don't eat, trade with someone.
14 is to old and if you do go throw a baby carrot at their door.
I don't think 14 is too old to trick or treat, but I do think it's old enough to know better than defacing someone else's property. Halloween is not about throwing eggs and smashing pumpkins - I don't get why otherwise decent kids feel like they need to be thugs one night a year.
Trade your gelatious candy with kids who eat meat.
Don't throw anything. If you feel like you rreally, really must be a jerk who will one day have something terrible happen to him and hopefully look back at this kind of stuff that you did and understand it's all karma and maybe you should have done a little preemptive living then I would suggest wads of toilet paper dipped in a thermos of water. It gives a goods splat but won't damage people's property the way that dried egg WILL (you will probably get arrested if you are caught - is it really worth it)?
P.S.
14 is not too old. We're doing the most terrifying haunted house in the whole world and expect a lot of teenagers to show up at our door. Commercial candy is all crap though and you just just skip taking candy and bring along some fruit!
Use TP instead. Eggs aren't a real good idea even if you're not vegan.
Do people seriously throw eggs at the doors of people who don't give them candy? I kinda thought that was a myth, because I certainly never did it.
Teens like you are the reason adults didn't trust the rest of us...
14 is not too old to go, though.
Maybe you should put quarters in a bucket and put it on their doorstep with a sign that says "Here is some money for you to buy candy for us next year".
please don't throw eggs. it's one thing to eat them, but to use them for malice, even worse. really bad karma.
instead ask yourself why you want to behave that way.
You could try throwing those egg beaters. Just don't forget to open the cartons first or it won't be nearly as satisfying. It gets a bit expensive though.
please grow out of this phase of throwing eggs or anything like that...
have a steak and grow up
