How can you become vegetarian?!
Well, try to live, a few months, in Romania, or in Russia!
The level of the prices is almost the same as in the other
European countries. But the medium level of the salaries
is of almost ten times lower...
Letting the joke apart, my advice, for you, for anyone who
whishes to feed himself "healthy", is NOT to jump, suddenly,
with both its feet, on the "vegetarian land". (One point:
"vegetarian nourishment" is not the same thing as "live food
nourishment". A vegetarian might still boil certain vegetables.)
You have to establish a "transition" period--which may take
years, if you want to avoid the desequilibriums. In this long
period, you should limit yourself to lamb meat (!) and fresh
fish meat, consumed once, or twice per month. The soy is
a good replacement for meat.
If you can not live only with vegetables and fruits, after you
have re-gained your health, after you have "repaired" your
organism, you should return to your usual nutritional habits.
For the modern (wo)men, the purification through feeding
must not last forever. We are, and we will remain, omnivors.
Please remember that:
1. The Son's of God fed the crowds (and himself) with fish.
He never claimed that we should limit our food, to fruits and
vegetables.
2. Our alimentation depends on the nature of our activities.
It's difficult, for someone who works in a mine, or in a steel
factory, for example, to live only with vegetables.
3. The Eskimos people is feeding itself, almost exclusively,
with meat. And it continues to survive, without too many
problems caused by meat and fat.
4. There are people, like the famous Rasputin, who could
eat almost anything - including poison! - without being af-
fected, in any way. It's the inner attitude the one that really
matters. It's useless, for someone, to stop eating pig meat,
if they continue to behave like the pigs (eat, drink, talk, and
so on).
Our food has to be preponderant vegetable; but not
exclusively vegetable.
If you want to loose weight, the best method is... to make
sex, as often as you can. If possible, you should act in an
active manner; you should be above...
In the case of the women who are neglecting their healthy,
natural, requirements, the "sexual apetite" is quietly re-
directed to "feeding apetite", as a subconscious compensation.
There's no a pill to become a vegetarian...i think you just...stop...eating...meat?
I'm actually NOT a vegetarian, but have had several discussions with my friend who is a veg. You have to make sure you get a well-balanced meal each time, so make sure you're getting enough protein (tofu, textured veggie protein, or whatever). It's easy to get all the vitamins and mineral you need from a variety of coloful veggies, but do a little research on how to complete your healthy meals.
Look at www.GoVeg.com. It has a lot of tips on how to go veg.
Also, regarding weight -- it's possible to be a vegetarian and still be at an unhealthy weight! So make sure you're going veg for the right reasons.
No pills. Start slow. Cut red meat first and then poultry and finally seafood.
Read up on it. Go to http://www.veggie123.com it has a beginner's ebook.

maybe you should go to a library and look up vegetarian lifestyle books then instead of trying to stop all at once you could slowly reduce the meat you eat until its all out of your diet.
There is no pus or fecal matter in meat. PETA is not a reliable source and level headed people are already aware of that. PETA is all about sensationalism.
You become a vegetarian by not eating meat. Just do it. Lay off of the milk and butter and cheese as much as possible too for the weight issue.
The temptation will go away in time. You can make it go faster by watching "Earthlings" or the Peta videos. They show what you would really be eating if you went back to meat. Find some really tempting vegetarian recipes (all over the web and in cookbooks at your local library) and have fun cooking. Be sure to eat plenty of beans, nuts, vegetables, and grains.
ive become one b4 so i no but all u have to do is dnt eat meat nothing else to it
I grew up eating meat, so it was hard for me to become vegetarian. I even used to make fun of a friend of mine for being vegetarian, thinking that she didn't eat meat because she thought cows were cute or something. I read a couple of books, Diet for a New America and Food Revolution, that changed my life. Both were written by John Robbins, whose dad co-founded Baskin-Robbins.
First, I cut out red meat and kept eating pork and seafood. After about 6 months, give or take a few weeks, I stopped eating pork. The hardest thing for me to kick was seafood, but the more I learned about what I was putting into my body, the more willing I became to give it all up.
I think the whole process, transitioning from eating meat my entire life to becoming vegetarian, took about a year. I have absolutely no craving for red meat and pork, although I do occasionally crave seafood. I think that will eventually go away.
Being vegetarian, which means an overall healthier diet, and regularly exercising would help you lose weight and keep it off. To me, that's a much better alternative than a bunch of quick-fix diets that are going to have you losing weight and gaining weight, and doing nothing for you in the long term.
Try this link. But first of all, you need support from your family. I tried to be vegetarian but I live with my om and dad and they are not vegetarians. So they cooked meat and i couldn't resist.
