What is the nutritional value of spinach?!

Question: How is it good for you?

Answers: How is it good for you?

Abfabmom1 is right. It's the food of Popeye the Sailor. Remember that cartoon?

Spinach is low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Niacin and Zinc, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin K, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Copper and Manganese, although it can be high in Sodium.

I don't have all the specifics like the other person above me, but I know spinach is one of the best overall vegetables around.

Plus, it worked for Popeye!
