Veggie Recipes I could share with my baby?!
I have often been told "feed him whatever you're eating" but am unsure what would be safe to give him - I eat a lot of things like Stir Fries, spicy curries etc which wouldn't be suitable for a baby.
Had anyone got any VEGETARIAN recipes which would be suitable for us to share? Thanks.
Answers: My son is 11 months old and I'm having trouble getting him to eat.

Lentil soup is good!
Don't go overboard with this bland thing. Yes, babies have sensitive tongues and stomachs but that doesn't mean they have to eat bland, tasteless food. My mom used to feed me lentils and rice all the time and one time when I was 15 months old, she gave me a little curry. She said I lapped it up and begged for more!
Go slow but try introducing mild, low fat, high protein, high carbohydrate curries and stir fries to your son. Increase the spiciness gradually. Spices are good for health.
Breast milk contains naturally occuring glutamate, which creates the 'tasty taste' of 'umami', hard to describe. Soy sauce contains glutamate too. It is why weaning babies from breast milk to bland food is difficult.
Those little Gerber baby foods work well, when the kids I babysit were smaller, I'd give them those. Here's the Gerber website for baby food , it also has some tips & tricks

When your son gets older here's a recipe I use (homemade fries)! :

I let the fries sit for a while and pat them down with paper towels. Once they are cooled down a little bit, I cut them up ( pretty small) and feed them to the kids ! Good luck !
DON'T feed him whatever you're eating. Children stomach is very gentle. Try the link I gave you, but search more on google also. My niecesare 2 years but they don't at whatever they want. My sis makes a soup from broccoli, 2 kinds of cabbage, fish or meat (but not fried, boiled) and more of vegetables (depends if your son has an allergy for carrot or something else)
sweet potatoes, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and carrotts, mashed banannas, butternut squash, orzo, rice etc.....cheerios for snacks. Don't worry he'll eat when he's hungry. Breast milk or formula when he wants.
You can always do a stir fry without adding any spices and use water instead of oil or something else. It'll be nutritious and easy for him to eat since the veggies will be softer. You can dish him out some and then add spices to your portion.
Well, idk about the baby, but there are plenty veggie recipes.
