It's someone who's not a vegetarian, but eats a mostly vegetarian diet. These people are not the ones who go veg for moral reason. Generally, they feel that eating meat is either unhealthy or environmentally irresponsible, but will "treat" themselves once in a while, or just go with the flow if they can't find a suitable veg meal.
They are not vegetarians by any means, and really should not refer to themselves as such. They are, however, in general far healthier, particularly cardiovascularly, than they average omnivore.
Same thing as omnivore
Nobody considers them vegetarians
an oxymoron
A flexitarian is not a vegetarian. It is someone who eats vegetarian a significant portion of the time, but allows themselves to eat meat when it's somehow desirable to do so (like not ticking off the family at Thanksgiving or whatnot.) If you eat meat you're not a vegetarian, so the two terms do not properly go together. You're one or the other.
Basically they eat only veggies, but they can be flexible. They will eat certain types or small amounts of meat
An omnivore.
They are the coolest of all the vegetarians, they eat some meat.
a bunch of bs? whoever heard of a flexi-christian, or flexi-homosexual? honestly. i mean its fine to eat meat if you want to sometimes but youre not a vegetarian.
An omnivore.

Here are some links to get you started . . . You can google "Flexitarian Diets" and get some good information there as well.
Flexitarian vegetarianism and veganism is fast growing trend to healthy and compassionate diets, while the old worn out vegans and vegetarians are on a decline.
I've been one for years and never had to take a supplement, been socially embarassed, forage for good, or give up having a life.
