Food poisoning usually happens within 10 minutes of eating bad food ... it sounds like the harsh reaction of throwing up and getting flush matches. If it were just chicken broth (and most likely a small amount) the worst that would happen is your digestive system would want it out quickly -- which is digestive time and that can take 30 mins to 2 hours. If you feel sick for more than 3-4 hours, it's most likely food poisoning.

Chances are it was either food poisoning or a stomach bug.

If you haven't eaten meat in a while, it can definitely give you a flush or nausea, even broth. My sister reacts that way to chicken or chicken broth, for some reason, though no other meat products. Risottos are usually made with chicken broth, so I think you hit the nail on the head.

If you keep throwing up all night, and feel like **** generally, you might have food poisoning - but you should feel better in a couple hours if it's just the chicken.

even if you are a strick vegetarian , your body wouldn't get "sick " from something that you don't feels is morally wrong. It has to be an external factor like food poisining or a bad reaction to someting else. good luck

Chicken broth is usually good for you. I would say you ate something that wasn't good. Even the broth may have been kept to long are something else was bad.

it's actually a soup like campells has chicken broth i dont really like chicken broth eww...in my opinion

Did the menu say vegetarian?

It probaly had some kind of food poisoning.
