Hello vegans. I just recently became a vegan. I use to be a vegeterian. I was wondering if i can eat tortillas!

Question: Corn tortillas ~ Yes. Even the most traditional recipe has no animal product in it.
Flour Tortillas ~ No, they made with Lard(Beef fat)
You can get "Veggie" Flour Tortillas just don't expect the local Mex-Tex restaurant to have them.
I find veggie flour tortilla at the grocery all the time & also some similar under the name 'Wraps". Usually in the deli department of the grocery store.

you will have to double-check with the labels on the specific tortillas you buy, but i'm fairly certain that tortillas are vegan. i've made tortillas from scratch without any animal ingredients, so i'd assume that they are lacking from commercial versions as well.

you have to read the ingredients yourself and look them up and check if the ingredients are vegan friendly.
because let's face it every time you want to eat something you're not gonna come to Yahoo! and ask. you're gonna have to learn to check the ingredients for yourself.

yup big juicy beef tortillas =p
