My sister wants to be vegan?!
so should i just leave it alone or something? she's 13 and i don't think its fair that she's trying to make my parents buy her all this special stuff when they don't have that much $
Answers: well her and i are both vegetarian (2/5 people in my house) and she is currently "eating vegan" right now, but we live in a divorced parent situation where my mom is supportive and is reaserching her "special needs" and is helping her learn how to eat right, while my dad isn't doing squat b/c besides buying soy milk because he... doesn't have the money to buy her differnt vegan food because that house literally is made of all proccessed food and everything like that (can i say lack of one ingredient foods or what?). well my sister wants to not only eat vegan, but change her entire lifestyle by getting special products that are all vegan, and neither my mom or dad wants to get her, her own seperate shampoo and conditioner, ect when the rest of us has to deal with the same things if you get what i'm saying.

You pay way more as a vegan to eat properly, and who says that's even proper. I would hope your sister eats that way or better, but most do not and you will suffer lack of funds=lack of nutrients and that is dangerous. You have to be rather well-off to have a steady, decent vegan diet. It's more expensive to maintain than an omni or even vegetarian one. It's nothing but a yuppie mental disorder.
The only way anybody could actually be vegan is if they grow and proudce their own food. Did you know that the plows that tend to grain fields run over and murder tons and tons of woodland critters? So every time oyu eat a piece of bread, you'll be nibbling on little traces of bunny blood. And I doubt you're a very educated vegetarian, because none of them are. Here are just a few of the thigns you probably use that harm animals:
Toothpaste, film( contains gelatine), certain hairbrushes, yogurt, chewing gum, gummy candies such as gummy bears or gummy worms, cheese (contains rennet, which is derived from the stomach of dead baby cows), most gravy, perfume or cologne, and much much more.
So sit there and tlel yourself that you're a wonderful person for helping the animals, but in reality, you're murdering and devouring them every day. Nice job.
I'm not a vegetarian. I eat meat every day and I LOVE IT. There's somethign about pressing your teeth into a nice juicy slab of cow that really puts me in a good mood. I hate vegetarians like you because you think you're better than people who eat meat, but you really kill animals just like the rest of us. You are a hypocrite, my friend. So instead of being a hypocrit, join the rest of us and stuff a piece of serloin in your mouth.
if she trult believes in the cause she will babysit or something and earn money, she cant expect her parents to support her every move!
If she is responsible enough to think vegan is the right lifestlyle for her then she needs to be responsbile and help figure out how to overcome the differences. She cannot just demand vegan products.
Perhaps if she went shopping with dad she could choose and help cook basic ingredients, you will find its no dearer than processed foods.
try looking for a nutritionist. they are often very helpful and can be found online. sometimes they may even give you a discount or free advice on finding vegan foods without having to go out of your way or spend extra money.
