People do what other people do, they think very little beyond that. They do what thier surrounding culture does without question.
Most people have never even thought about animals, to them they are just a sub-species to be used.
This is backed up by lots of "reasons" such as frontal eyes, cavemen did it, canine teeth, veggies are expensive, it tastes good, the bible says so etc....
Because we can!!!!
Several reasons, I guess:
1. It's delicious
2. It's fast and easy to prepare
3. Most of us were raised eating it, so force of habit
4. It's delicious
Because meat is hard to beat.
1) personal choice, various reasons, none of which is really your business
2) no choice at all, meat is the only available food so meat is what they eat
i've noticed that the most fanatical vegetarians/vegans come from societies where choice is a luxury. That they can get their choice of "natural" packaged and processed greens from the supermarket. But to those who come from societies where the next meal is uncertain at best, the issue is not choice but survival. The next meal may still be walking on four legs somewhere in that forest or jungle. What do vegetarins/vegans say to them?
Because a hamburger without a burger is just a bun and a bun with a bocaburger is just a lie.
Troll
What lies? The article simply states which meats have less fats than others. I like how they say, "Yes, we know red meat is full of cholesterol and saturated fat" and then go on to say how bison meat doesn't have the cancer-causing hormones that are found in factory farmed cow flesh - hahahahahahahahaa. Comedy.
Is that supposed to make us WANT to eat red meat?
Oh yeah, I forgot. You're that troll that was poking around the other day.
Because it tastes good. 'Do not you' realize your grammer is bad? And besides, it's not always bad for you. Sometimes people's bloodtypes are much more tolerant of meat than others.
The only way anybody could actually be vegan is if they grow and proudce their own food. Did you know that the plows that tend to grain fields run over and murder tons and tons of woodland critters? So every time oyu eat a piece of bread, you'll be nibbling on little traces of bunny blood. And I doubt you're a very educated vegetarian, because none of them are. Here are just a few of the thigns you probably use that harm animals:
Toothpaste, film( contains gelatine), certain hairbrushes, yogurt, chewing gum, gummy candies such as gummy bears or gummy worms, cheese (contains rennet, which is derived from the stomach of dead baby cows), most gravy, perfume or cologne, and much much more.
So sit there and tlel yourself that you're a wonderful person for helping the animals, but in reality, you're murdering and devouring them every day. Nice job.
I'm not a vegetarian. I eat meat every day and I LOVE IT. There's somethign about pressing your teeth into a nice juicy slab of cow that really puts me in a good mood. I hate vegetarians like you because you think you're better than people who eat meat, but you really kill animals just like the rest of us. You are a hypocrite, my friend. So instead of being a hypocrit, join the rest of us and stuff a piece of serloin in your mouth.
Because meat in the right portions is very healthy. Secondly we are omnivores so its basically in our nature to eat meat. Tons of good things in meat like amino acids, fat and many vitamins that are much easier to get through eating than supplements. A vegan diet vrs a balanced diet are beasically the same as far as health goes but if you prefer to just eat veggies power to ya just dont lecture everyone who likes a burger or steak every now and again.
They're hungry.
They think that it tastes good.
Yahoo will post whatever they can to make money.
They aren't a non-profit organization so anything that is on their website may actually be a form of advertising that is sponsored by an unnamed industry.
Thankyou Reginami, finally someone else who agrees with the "blood types". Everytime I mention blood types and meat and vegetarians, I always get thumbs down for my answer. I can recommend a book "Eat Right for Your Type". It is an excellent book and makes a lot of sense and it answers the question "Why do people eat meat?". Since using that book as a guide, my health has improved greatly.
Were the thumbs down for my benefit.? The ignorance just astounds me.
Because 1. it's habit 2. it tastes good 3. its the norm 4. they're being told it's essential to a healthy diet 5. it's everywhere.
because some people don't care what they are putting in their bodies or the fact that the animal has to go through so much pain just to feed their fat bellies!! i feel sorry for these kinds of people
