Getting back into vegetarianism?!

Question: I was a vegetarian over the summer, or was starting the become one. I tried to avoid meat when I could and would ask me parents to cook a little something extra for me when they did a meat meal. The problem is some nights I forgot, or my parents didn't have time to make something extra, and since I am now back in school and in many after school activitys I dont's always have time to make some pasta shells or something for myself. I am very dissapointed in my self for letting me fade away from a vegetarian lifesyle, what do you recomend I do to help me get back into the swing of being vegetarianism? Also, I problem I faced is I'm a bit of a pick eater. I'm not a salad eater, and not a huge fan of vegtables. Boca burgers were ok but I hated garden burgers, and I tried some like fake chicken and stuff but it was so bland and mushy and gross. I like foods with flavore, and that are maybe a bit juicy. I don't like super spicy things but I'm ok with a bit of spice, and love garlic flavoring.

Giiiirl!

I feel ya! I just recently turned vegetarian for many different reasons and it's really hard to stay on it. I come from a Mexican family and they cook A LOT of meat so it's really hard for me to be Vegetarian.

However it's do-able.

Personally, I've been eating pizza with mushrooms and pineapples, pastas, salads of course (but you dont like them).
Bean and cheese burritos basically anything that I would normally eat just without meat .. in all reality i think it's in our heads about the whole meat thing but maybe its just me...

something that helped me become vegetarian .... the book Fast Food Nation and the youtube video meat for meat .... CRAZY STUFF!!!! watch it, read it !

try ethnic foods like indian and thai. they are veggie and very yummy. don't worry if you're not perfect about it, every little bit helps.

uhh.. if ur NOT a vegan... heres this that has SOME veggies and LOTS of garlic.

1. large slice of feta chese(block)
2. One middle slice of tomato
3. a 1/2 handful of crused bazil
4. as much garlic as u wanttt
lay the feta on a plate.
tomata on feta
top with bazill and garlicc
yummm. :)

I kind of have the same promblem.
My parents are divorced and at my moms house its easy to be a vegetarian because she is one, but at my dads its really hard because him and his new wife and her son are all meat eaters and I dont have time to cook for myself. but anyway to answer your question:
try Quorn. It's REALLY good. they make all kinds of it. Its fake chicken but tastes just like the real thing. They also have Quorn meatballs and hotdogs. Theyre all good!
you can get it at most health food stores.

what the heck, y r u turning into a vegetarian, u r ruining your life. i feel so bad 4 u. i love meat!!!

Becoming vegetarian is not easy. Do your parents relies this is what you want? If not tell them so you don't need to remind them every single night.
