Vegetarian loaf... Can't remember all the ingredients?!
I'm an evil omnivore, but you couldn't beat that loaf she made, yum yummy!
Answers: But my buddy's wife used to make it. It had about a stick of butter and corn flakes in it. I think sour cream as well. The only thing I found doing a quick find off of the net contained the fake meat, and hers did not. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

It was probably a personal recipe. Corn flakes can be "fake meat". Basically there is really no such thing as "fake meat", only sorts of vegetable protein used in different ways. You have "fakin bacon" and such, which are what people call "fake meat", veggie burgers and such. But these are all different vegetable proteins.
I use TVP alot. (texturized vegetable protein).
I really can't say what your friend's wife made. You could try a cookbook such as Laurel's kitchen, which has lots of fabulous vegetarian recipes.
no meat or meat products, almost every thing else edible is ok...i think
That's a recipe that could work for you. I have never come across a veggie loaf recipe that uses butter.

You could always ask your friend's wife for the recipe.
Or you can go to the Magical Loaf Studio and plug in what ingredients you have on hand and make your own loaf. The possibilities are endless!
