How does this sound for a three course vegetarian meal?!


Question: Everything will be homemade, there are no allergies, and they are vegetarian, NOT vegan.

Starters: Wild mushroom pate with melba toasts

Main course: Roast Meditteranean vegetable lasagne (red and yellow peppers, aubergine, courgettes red onion and chestnut mushrooms) using spinach pasta, a rich fresh tomato and basil sauce and creamy bechamel sauce topped with vegetarian cheddar and baked until bubbling ang golden,

Green salad and garlic bread

pudding a zingy lemon and lime cheesecake

Coffee and handmade chocolates

It sounds good, but the mushrooms and the bread are repetitive in your plan. Try fried mushrooms at the beginning -and maybe leave them out of the lasagna? Or perhaps do the salad with croutons and serve a nice soup in a bread bowl? Just a thought. Nice bit of effort on your part, regardless. Have a nice time.

When, where and how do I get there?

It all sounds very nice from the pudding onwards ! ! !

Pumpkin & rosemary & walnut croquettes on sauteed potatoes, with rich tomato sauce and steamed vegetables vg gf

Vegetable chilli filled roast pepper on a courgette, lemon & thyme fritter, served with salad with an avocado dressing vg gf

Brinjal, cauliflower, coconut & spinach timbale on Bombay potatoes served with tarka dhal, tomato & red onion salsa with a mint raita vg gf

Roasted Mediterranean vegetable & cheese lasagne served with garden salad and drizzled with fresh herb pesto dressing

Marinated tofu nori and Japanese slaw, sesame greens & brown rice with a miso broth vg gf

Pizza Castronova with mushrooms, olives & tomato
