I don't know how thankful I would be if all I had to eat were vegetables.

Having an omnivorous smorgasbord here!

TofuStuffin

TofuMuffins

TofuPie

TofuGravy

YEAH RIGHT!!!! HAHAHAHAA!!!!!! I'm gonna have GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE on this day!!! :)

Every other year when we're not with family - we go to see two or three movies on Thanksgiving. We don't fix anything - but we have popcorn and red vines for Thanksgiving dinner. Love it! (and it IS vegetarian)

Best foods are

1)vegetable biryani or fried rice
2)sambar rice with potato chips ll be simply superb
3)potato fry
4) beans fry
5)ghobi fry
6)Curd rice with picke and atlast with milk payasam and sweet

Lots of salad greens with interesting garnishings. Like sliced and diced fruits to top the salad. And bread with dips - - cheeses, anchovies, tomatoes.

My vegan friends are excited! And can't believe there is no tofu!

salad, lasagna, tofuturkey

I Can't Believe It's Not Turkey, with mash potatoes and gravey with real butter.

Faux chicken n Cornbread dressing w/gravy, seasoned green beans, layered green salad(has yellow raisins!), candied sweet potatoes or sweet potato walnut crunch casserole, hot rolls, pumpkin pie.

Since when did the native american indians serve biryani rice and raisins???????? And lasagna!?!?!?!?!?!

My house, regular omni thanksgiving. Vegetarians are welcome to eat anything on the table, veggie or otherwise (promise we won't squeal on you)

I just got a sample today at Trader Joe's of this delicious pasta that only used two jars of bruschetta, one can of artichoke hearts, a can of black olives, and a bag of veggie pasta (all right there at TJ's - they have the little display set up so you can grab the ingredients). It was really good. I'm going to take that to my grandma's for the family to enjoy. I'm also bringing roasted potatoes, my famous coconut, pecan sweet potatoes, and probably a bundt vegan spice cake with a toffee glaze. Yummm!

they'll get what they're given and be grateful for it. none of this fussy 'I can't eat that because blah blah'. If you're a vegetarian you shouldn't celebrate thanksgiving because it's against the ethical ideals that you've decided to define yourself by.

Cajun style Tofurky, stuffing, corn, cornbread, mashed yukon potatos, green bean cassarole with cream of broccoli soup (friend is allergic to mushrooms), pumpkin pie from scratch, apple pie from scratch, orange cranberry sauce, and a real Turkey for my boyfriend and non-vegetarian friends.
