What do eskimos eat?!
Answers: Meat products from moose, caribou, deer, elk, fish (salmon esp.), seal and maybe walrus. They also eat the same things we eat (within reason). Products can be pricey because everything is shipped in and depending on the season, sometimes logistics are difficult. Nowadays, everyone anywhere can eat just about everything as they can order food products online (within reason).
well lets see here Fish of course
Fish and baby seals.
I would assume just about everything we do and or anything they have available. Fish, wild game, whales....etc.
A lot of meat.
I think they eat a lot more fish and other sea animals. I think in some places that are not so much isolated they eat more modern food they gets flown in from the main lands.

I to am a Canadian and a former chef and I did work in Northern Canada on Baffin Island in Iqaluit.
They do eat fish, some raw, and yes they eat caribou, seals are not a main stay, the eat some other sea mammals, like narwal. Wild fowl like snow goose, ptarmigan a wild bird that change plummage in the winter, musk ox, moose and even rabbits and deer, that depends on the area of the north, and some are nomadic so they can eat more.
In larger communities like in Iqaluit, they are able to get the same grocry we do, alot more expensive as of the travel and transportation issues.
Snow cones.
I can't believe no one got in "Eskimo Pies" yet.
probably just fish from ice fishing and things, not like they have trees for fruit
Inuits. And they eat mostly raw (and sometimes cooked) meats and animal fats. They also have a life expectancy of about 40 years.

Snow Balls
They eat a lot of fish and meat. Their short life expectancy hardly has anything to do with their diet. Its due to high rates of infant mortality, fatal child accidents, suicide, and tobacco use.
Inuit eat pretty much anything you or I eat. You can find grocery stores in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. The average Inuit teen drinks a litre of pop daily and eats three times as much junk food as Southern Canadians.
As for Inuit traditional food, it's mostly whale, caribou, fish and other sea animals. It can be problematic, since older Inuit often have bone problems - osteomalacia and the like - from the traditional diet. What's a bigger problem are the PCBs that Inuit people ingest. A few years ago, there was a study by Tinloch that measured PCBs in Inuit breast milk, and it exceeded tolerable levels.
(Though I should add, the bone problems Inuit have aren't just caused by diet - other poor health choices also contribute to it, from what I understand)
Fish and seal mostly. Why is this being asked here?
