Starters can be Chappati (Indian bread), and Vegetable Samosas, Tandoori Roti, Kabuli, Paratha.
You can prepare the special yellow Indian rice and/or curry rice alongside with any of these:
Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Kadai, Chicken Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Saag, Boti Kebab Masala, Shrimp Vindaloo, Lobster Bhuna.
Don't forget vegetarian delight too: Makhani Paneer, Navratan Korma, Dal Maharani
Do make sure that all your guests take lamb or vegetarian.
My favorite drink is Mango Laasi~ (Indian mango yoghurt) the best drink ever. You can provide sweet tea too and orange juice.
Dessert: Keer, Kulifi, Gulab Juman.
Just decorate with exotic music, some mild incense, some Indian cloth on table top, dim your lighting, and maybe small Ganesha statue on your rack.
Gift suggestions: small souvenirs that can be found in Indian shop / Chinatown. It costs $1-$4/each. Something exotic like the mehindi, henna kit, small carvings, statue, or stones, small souvenirs... or maybe Indian Sari cloth for some special female guests.
I hope this helps...
