Thanks!

Burger King uses Morningstar Farms brand veggie burgers. You can get them at almost any grocery store that sells meat alternatives in the freezer section. I know walmart has them, bi-Lo, Sweet Bay, and Publix. don't know if any of those are around you but I hope that helps.

The Burger King near me uses Morningstar Farms Garden Veggie Patties, and these are available in stores. I don't know if all Burger Kings sell the same ones, but I assume they do.

Hi.

I am a vegetarian who has checked with some stores in Oregon, and Califrnia.

Burger King uses "Morningstar Farms" brand.

You'll find this in the frozen section of your store, but some stores have a couple of sections for veggie patties, so you may need to ask.

Here are the current ingredients:

Ingredients in BK VEGGIE? BURGER PATTY

Vegetables (Mushrooms, Water Chestnuts, Onions, Carrots, Green Bell Peppers, Red Bell Peppers, Black Olives), Textured Vegetable Protein (Soy Protein Concentrate, Wheat Gluten, Water for hydration), Egg Whites, Cooked Brown Rice (Water, Brown Rice), Rolled Oats, Corn Oil, Calcium Caseinate, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Wheat), Onion Powder, Corn Starch, Salt, Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy, and Wheat Protein, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Natural Flavors from non-meat sources, Sugar, Soy Protein Isolate, Spices, Garlic Powder, Dextrose, Jalape?o Pepper Powder, Celery Extract. Contains Egg, Wheat, Soy.
Note: This is NOT a VEGAN product.

The patties, made by "Worthington Foods" previously did not have egg whites, but now do, after the product was reformulated.

The bun and mayonaise, both contain Polysorbate 60 which is animal-derived. You can find ingredients lists for such things at whyvegan.org; a worthy, and accurate website.

-Hope this helps.

Jut curious.. why would a vegan crave / look for food that looks and tastes like meat?

@Asker- actually it does taste like meat that's why it is sold that way.. I've also tasted it...

I believe they are essentially the same patty as

Morning star Farms Gardenburger (original style)

Hope that helps.

I have found that Costco sells some great veggie burgers. I have been eating them for years and I find them very tasty. Try it, you'll like it.

I luv Mornigstar. I just had one of there garden patties the other day. THeir CHIK'N Pattie really tastes like chicken.

Just get a f'n whopper!
