For the vegers who like to claim that more plants are used to feed meat animals than are used by vegers?!
Answers: exactly how many plants are used in the production of something like shrimp, lobster, scallops, deer, caribou, salmon, etc..??
That statment refers to factory farmed animals...those that provide beef, milk, chicken etc. The majority of consumed meat is beef, chicken and pork...not caribou.
For the vast majority of meat eaters, the largest portion of their meat consumption is from cows, chickens, and pigs, all of which are fed far more vegetables and grains than most people eat, only to produce less meat. Most of the world does not derive a significant portion of it's food from caribou and lobster. It's not a "claim", it's fact.
None really.
The fishing of our oceans is a separate issue.
That idea is in reference to factory farmed and feedlot animals.
It's an irrelevant point anyway. The food for cattle and other animals is grown FOR them. It's not like you steal grain out of the bakery to go and feed a cow. It was produced for them from the start.
Doesn't matter if you eat an animal you are immoral.
BTW YOU ARE STILL THE BIGGEST MORST IMMORAL TROLL EVER!
Much of what food animals eat (mostly grass and dried seed,) we can't eat. They turn it into food for us.
