Which do you think is more humane?!
Answers: Vegetarians and vegans, which do you think is more humane? (If you are going to answer both then don't bother answering) hunting, or meat from the stores?
hmm hunting because the hunter goes out and kills the animal from the wild, but you can't guarantee the meat from the stores was acquired in such a way. many farms, unfortunately, treat their animals very poorly, injecting them with steroids to make them bigger, cramming them into tiny spaces with many others, and the list goes on. at least it is certain that the hunter killed an animal that had the option to roam around and enjoy the wild before it was killed
What does humane mean?
Question doesn't make sense, in both cases you have meat, from a dead animal.
If you mean how the animal died, I say those from meat packers because they all die the same uniform way.
Out hunting if you have "Mr. I think I must be a Redneck" who has no respect or doesn't give the animal a sporting chance and has no business being out there and doesn't understand how to kill with one shot, etc... you have an irresponsible hunter.
Hunting and eating what you hunt
vegan since there is no animal involved at all !!
Either can be done humanely.
Neither is really humane, both are meat from animals and they endured pain in both cases.
Hunting, easily.
The meat you buy from stores is livestock which are treated horribly their entire lives.
I don't know that for sure, maybe the media was exaggerating to make us watch more of the documentaries about it.
But still, hunting seems closer to how nature should be.
i dont think either are humane coz in both cases animals are getting there lives taken away for peoples taste buds. i dont agree with hunting because they are wild animals getting one with there lives, probably looking for food to feed there kids and then a human comes along and kills them which will mean that there kids will probably die as well coz they wont have any food, but i think store meat is worse because of all the pain and torture the animals have to go through. the only reason they are even born is so that they can be abused, slaughtered and eaten. and that will never be humane
I think hunting's more humane... the animals have had a chance to live a normal life before dying, whereas the meat from a supermarket usually comes from factory farms which are, well... disgusting! I don't agree with hunting for sport but I do see hunting meat for food as more natural than buying it from a supermarket. Preferably both should be avoided :o)
Neither is humane.
Hunting is LESS cruel than factory farms.
I still don't think it's very polite to shoot someone for minding their own business, do you?
I don't think either is humane, but I do think that someone that hunts an animal and is able to kill it and skin it and chop it up is at least being honest with what they are eating.
There's nothing worse than someone that eats meat that can't stand eating meat off bones, or they pretend that meat isn't what it is, and they won't even think about slaughterhouses etc. That's just plain ignorance.
I like getting my meat from the store. It's convenient and I don't have to clean up blood.
both of them works
Well, neither is humane. The proper question would be which is less cruel.
Both are humane if they are done correctly and have lived stress free lives.
neither is more humane than the other. >.>
it's almost like saying, "which is more humane? shooting or stabbing a person?" all in all both are just plain wrong.
