Would it be possible to save a pig from slaughter and have it live in the house?!

Question: umm, a market pig would be a very difficult animal to keep in the house. I want a pig as a pet, but I haven't figured out how to have a 1000 pound pet (that's the small end for a fully grown pig) And although they are clean and smart, they also love to root and chew and would probably destroy the furniture. Also, it would chew your feet constantly. I'm not kidding. So, possible, not probable.

Absolutely, you should do this!

Yes and another one will be breed to take its place.

Yeah, of course.

Yes I guess if you keep it in a seprate room from other things that are used Daily and keep it from going to the bathroom in the house than you should be fine and pretty soon it would e able to like do some sound or something when its hungry and has to got to teh bathroom. I think that is a really good Idea .

yes anythings possible.. aww that would be nice of you too do.... good luck..

I wouldnt bother..... A roll and bacon is much less hassle than a pig in ur house :)

Yes, pigs are very good pets, they′re not a dirty animals as people think, They're like a dog or a cat. They're smart, clean an lean.

Yeah I think it'd be great bcuz you could feed it all your leftovers (not pork though lol) and that would mean you have less rubbish = less bins to take out!!!

taking care of it, eg, training it to use a litter tray is time consuming but i think ultimately it will be an asset to your family. as long as they dont bite? X I LOVE PIGZ X

i dont think you want a pig as a pet...

No. It would destroy your house.

Edit* It's the new reformed nasty.

Those pigs are far too larger to live in an apartment or house.

Yeah!

Its possible but I think the pig would raither have a big field to play in.

did you watch the Simpsons Movie and see what happened to Homer and family when he did just that? Besides what makes you think the pig would want to live with you if given the choice?
Seriously, a pig weighing hundreds of pound and eating practically anything can be a handful.. dangerous too. A pig's bite can cause serious and even fatal injuries.
