What are some vegan friendly items in vending machines?!

Question: I would be careful about buying items in vending machines--after all, you can't read the label before you buy it. However...Lay's Chips, as long as they're unflavored, are vegan. SunChips, regular flavor, are vegan. Avoid snack cakes. Some are not even vegetarian--long story there and the reason I don't trust vending machines.

If you can go into a little convenience store or something, that would be far better. Even better would be keeping a stash of snacks in your bag, such as veggie jerky and crackers.

potato chips

veggie burgers. Salads.

Hmm... Vegan junk-food... what a concept.

Corn chips, sunflower seeds...

potatoe skins, But be careful and read the bag, make sure there's no cheese products in it, soy is good, and just check your ingrediants.

I really dont think there is any unless you come across a vending machine in a organic food store but I have yet to see one

Vegans have it bad, I hope I never become one. Life is hard enough as a vegetarian!
What about gum? Plain nacho chips?

The plastic wraps around the products.

Peanuts. Howeve, they are usually salted so they may not be that good for you depending on you sodium intake each day.

the machine at work has a few vegan friendly items.

I would assume pretzles would be ok.

What about corn nuts? Water comes to mind.

Plain Lay's potato chips and the Sunchips that come in the blue bag (original, I think) are both widely available vegan vending machine options. Other choices would be peanuts, sunflower seeds, and Twizzlers (I've seen them included on vegan candy lists, but haven't checked the ingredients for myself.)

Hot water.. As i see that lay's potato chips are lsited by some, I would like to ask a question myself: Are vegans concernd with the number of animals displced and eventually killed when the Lays company built its factory for your vegan snacks? also, how about teh animals displaced ad gain eventually killed to make way for the farms tht supply lays with its' potatoes? The number of pests animals such as rabbits, ferrets, gophers, squirrels and such trapped or displaced, killed so that they will not feed on the crops such as potatoes used in your snacks? Do those animals count or is their eradication and death acceptable since you use the products?
