Are you a veg*n for moral reasons or health reasons?!

Question: moral

Answers: moral

Health, but as I have been on this path the moral issues has become in my view also.

Both, with environmental reasons thrown in for good measure.

Both and many more reasons (environment, economics, etc.)

However, I would be vegan even if it weren't healthy for me. I wouldn't mind being a little skinny or missing a little B12 if it meant not participating in the torture and slaughter of thousands of animals.

moral, but its also good for my health, so thats why i've never picked up eating meat.

God put food on earth ..for humans...... I get very confused on this issue. how can it be immoral to consume Gods gifts.

Both but by far moral is the most important reason for me.

moral

I started into very loose flexatarian for moral (mainly environmentally moral) reasons and later stomach problems digesting fat in certain meats and dairy became a catalist for a much more strict diet. So health is my biggest reason, but i have moral reasons as well.

Moral. I think to go vegan or vegetarian for health reasons alone is just selfish. Sorry.

I'm a vegetarian mainly because the thought of eating an animal grosses me out. Second is the moral issue, but if I were doing this on my morals alone and I loved meat...I wouldn't last very long. :)

i am veggetarian...... but I do it for both

moral. the health benefits are just a bonus

I'm kinda mixed. I'm not some crazy animal lover, so that's not really the reason I don't eat meat. It's just that I find it nasty to eat something that was moving and breathing and was later slaughtered and put on a pizza. But I also do believe that we don't need to kill animals for food. We can survive without eating them.

Since Vegans (not to be confused with vegetarians) have been shown to have a shorter life span than meat eaters, it certainly isn't health reasons (or duh.....wake up).

For the record, fish eaters live the longest followed by vegetarians and moderate meat eaters followed by meat eaters followed by vegans.

Moral reasons? Health reasons? Since when is it immoral or unhealthy to eat meat? Meat IS good for you if you don't eat 10 pounds a day and what is the moral part about? Animal rights wackos are at it again!!!
