Also, I really enjoy cinnamon & brown sugar Oatmeal. It's healthy and tasty...
Toaster Strudels are delicious and convenient as well.
How about cinnamon toast and a yogurt fruit smoothie?
For toast:
Have some salted butter at room temp.
Toast bread-just about any kind will work (cinnamon raising, potato bread-for thick slices, you could broil them carefully in the oven and flip once the top side is toasty).
Butter the toast on one side and sprinkle bought, pre-mixed cinnamon sugar on top.
I love cinnamon toast it hits the right notes-sweet, salty
Yogurt smoothie:
Add 1/2 cup milk to blender.
Add 1/2 cup plain yogurt, or any kind to the blender.
Add about 1 tbsp. of honey, I just guesstimate.
Add 1 cup frozen fruit mixture of your liking, any combo-my favorite is frozen raspberries and peaches, you could also use blueberries, strawberries, banana, pomegranate seeds, etc. If you choose to use fresh fruit, try to pair it with a frozen fruit.
Blend until the fruits are all thoroughly broken down, and serve with a wide-mouth straw, courtesy of McD's.
Hope this helps.
1 whole grain waffle toasted
1 tbls. of natural peanut butter with honey
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
After toasting the waffle, while it is still warm, spread the peanut butter with honey over the waffle. Wash the raspberries and then spread them over the peanut butter. I eat this every morning and it really keeps you full and gives you energy for the day.
Not a vegan, but when I have limited items in my fridge and I want something full-filling I usually go all out on all the veggies that I have left in the fridge.
1 potato
1 bell pepper
1 onion
some shredded sharp cheddar cheese
All you need is a frying pan, butter, salt & pepper. I usually use season salt. You chop up those veggies to the size you want.
About a teaspoon of butter, stir fry in the potatoes first since it takes longer to cook, then add in the rest of the veggies. When it about done, sprinkle cheese on top, turn off your stove, cover pan with the lid and let it sit. Add salt & pepper to your liking.
For a non vegan dish I like to add some eggs or bacon with it.
Make some breakfast muffins! You can add nuts, seeds, oats, bran, dried fruit, whole grain flour etc. Check out the link for recipes.
peel and thinly slice 1 or 2 medium potatoes...fry in EVOO until golden brown...about 5 minutes after starting potatoes, add 3 or 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled...wait another 3 to 4 mins and add 1 or 2 raw scrambled eggs...the eggs kinda hold the whole thing together...when potatoes are done, place on plate, and enjoy...

1/2 clove garlic
any seasonings
cooked sausage chunks

Cook hash browns like you normally would, then top with sauteed onions, green peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms. Then sprinkle with feta cheese. Yum!
Steak and eggs, OJ, toast w/ butter and a nice fruit salad.
