The simplest way of eating is to eat foods in their natural state. Fruit and vegetables eaten cleaned and raw is very healthy, however, you must eat a LOT of them to get enough calories or you will lose weight very quickly.
Raw foodists often create elaborate recipes to eat raw foods that feel a bit more like the foods they are used to. Some of those made at one time and then eaten up throughout the week make eating a raw foods diet easier. For example, making flax crackers and nut and dried fruit bars to eat between meals of fresh fruits and veggies really help keep you feeling full and provide the fats you don't get from the produce.
It's also very easy to make soups - just throw some raw veggies in a high powdered blender, add a few spices, some water, and blend until warm.
A raw food diet is beneficial for many reasons. They contain enzymes that food cooked over 115 degrees don't. Those enzymes aid digestion and get sent all over your body for reasons they are just now only beginning to understand. Nature clearly intended for a large part of our diet to be in a natural, raw state, but we're so used to cooking that we just end up cooking most of our food. There are studies done where blood is examined after eating raw food and then after eating cooked food and the cooked food makes a lot more white blood cells. Your body sees cooked food as something it has to fight. These toxins in cooked food can explain some of the health problems a lot of people face. A bold statement, but read some of the stories from people who have CURED disease throguh a raw foods diet or, better yet, try it out for amonth and see and feel the difference in your body. You just feel more alive when you et food with live enzymes.
A raw foods diet is by far the simplest diet, but it is important to do it right to ensure good health. There are a LOT of good websites and guides out there. Just do a search for "Raw Food" and variations.
Good luck in your search!
