If you think they taste shitty, maybe you should try some different kinds? There are lots of different ones out there. Have you tried Money's Mushroom burgers? I haven't met anyone who doesn't like those yet (I'm in Canada, I don't know if they'll have them where you are).

I also really enjoy just taking a block of tofu and squeezing the water out (wrap it in paper towel, put something heavy on it for 15 min) then crumbing it and using it like you would ground beef. Add an egg or two (or egg replacer) and some bread crumbs, some soy sauce and mustard, some cumin. Form them into patties and fry them up. You can adjust the taste so you like it. These are definitely healthy.

Good luck!

I would say they are more like a quick dinner/lunch. They are not "healthy" the way fresh fruits and vegetables are, but they are healthier than eating a real hamburger(since there is less saturated fat, calories and cholesterol). Some of the are pretty high in calories, and any prepacked and processed food should be eaten in moderation. They should be eaten more as an every once and awhile treat, not an every other day meal.

i think they are sick. personally just the thought of eatting meat or any thing that looks smells or tastes like it makes me wanna chuck

No way. Boca burgers are so good. Even my brother (who loves meat) eats them sometimes

I like the black bean texmex veg burgers.
they're much better than the plain veg ones
