Is a pineapple a vegetable?!

Question: because when it goes to seed, don't the seeds form a tuft at the top, like a thistle?

Answers: because when it goes to seed, don't the seeds form a tuft at the top, like a thistle?

The seeds are not in the green top. They are actually just under the eyes. When you trim a pineapple, barely cut the eyes, so that some of it still remains on the fruit. You will expose the seeds. Because a pineapple has seeds, it is therefore a fruit.

The pineapple is a fruit.

pineapple

Fruit-bearing plant (Ananas comosus) of the family Bromeliaceae, native to the New World tropics and subtropics but introduced elsewhere. Pineapple is served fresh where available and in canned form worldwide. It is a key ingredient in Polynesian cuisine. Like agave and some yuccas, the plant has a rosette of 30 – 40 stiff, succulent leaves on a thick, fleshy stem. A determinate inflorescence forms 15 – 20 months after planting. After fertilization, the many lavender flowers fuse and become fleshy to form the 2 – 4 lb (1 – 2 kg) fruit. Ripening takes 5 – 6 months.

Fruit.

Pineapple is a herb fruit so I've been told (it's related to the thistle (Bromesilicae family) i know got spelling s wrong of that name) and Onion is a herb veggie! They both are unusual plants. I guess God decided to break the rule when creating those plants! They also happen to be deemed the healthiest plants to eat! is the pineapple an ovary of the plant? I know the onion is! With Onion the sprouting is on outside of the plant! no seeds within! There is Pineapple tea but there is no such thing as Onion tea. There is Onion soup and I've never heard of Pineapple soup! As for sweet vegetables CORN or PEAS!
Even carrots are sweet straight from the garden! The ones that aren't are either bland like potatos or cucumbers or hot like radishes! I can't think of a veggie that is other than sweet, or hot can you? except for a few bland such as potatos or cucumbers. Most veggies have a bit of sweetness to them! Sure fruits are a lot sweeter and more acidic!

See what being a vagan does to you? You lose brain cells and become the vegetable you eat. Of course its a bloody FRUIT you fruitcake.
