Which religions of the world preach vegetarianism?!
Answers: The 2 popular are Hindus and Adventists
I believe certain segments of Hinduism (possibly all)
Buddahism for sure.
those are the ones I know.
buddist hindiu and i think sikkis
A lot of Rastafarians either don't eat meat altogether, or are very particular about the types they do eat.
Only the fools on YA "preach" vegetarianism along with the 7th Day Adventists (which is a denomination of Christianity and not a "religion").
Hindu, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhism, . . . to name a few of the major ones. There are varying degrees of strictness within each of these religions w/ regard to vegetarianism, but they are more tolerant than anything you would find on here . . . and infinitely more "spiritual" than these wannabes.
Most if not all Buddhists are vegetarians. Taking in the notion that we should love all creatures equally. I would say Hindus but they usually eat everything but beef.
From what i read in theV&V section, veganism seems to be the new fad religion
Buddhism teaches austerity not vegetarianism. Many Japanese and Chinese are buddhists but eat meat and fish though sparingly. Some sects of major religions might advocate vegetarianism such a 7th day adventists.
7th day Adventists preach vegetarianism as a healthier lifestyle. They're really into health.
They are simply another protestant Christian denomination.
