Vegetarians, what's your favorite thansgiving dish?!

Question: This is my first year going vegetarian and although I usually never ate turkey on thanksgiving, I would love to think of a nice vegetarian meal that can be enjoyed by both my family (who eats meat) and myself next thanksgiving.

Usually my grandmother makes lasagna for me (while they go eating turkey, stuffing, etc...), but I would like to think of something different that we can all enjoy. I'd like to hear your story. :-)

Weell, I've been vegetarian since I was like 5, and I still enjoy the holidays just as much as everyone else, (except for maybe the cooking part the turkey grosses me out XD)...

Okay, so what do I eat?
Mashed potatoes are always a favorite, if they're made right.
And also, vegetarian stuffing is like... to die for. And it's cute and festive if you put it in a turkey mold. :)
Tofu Turkey's pretty damn good, if you're into that sort of thing. Also, make rolls, and cranberry sauce, and green beans with butter and almond slivers are pretty good, (I know it sounds nasty but it's not bad.)
And then like, pies are always fun, and if you get your're family to make the whipped cream there, it's fun. Especially if you've got younger kids in the family.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Dressing (Stove top or Ben's). Sometimes I get mushroom gravy to pour on it with all the other veggies... YUM! and you'll have more room for desert. You may want to try marinated tofu or tofurky.

carrots

'Akht vos Shir'ahryu

It's a classic Andromedan dish made from fresh local ingredients.

This takes a long time to make, but it is fun for holidays.
"Holiday Lentil Loaf"
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed
2 stalks celery, chopped
2t sage
3C cooked lentils
3C cooked wild rice or brown rice
1/2C chopped walnuts
1/4C bread crumbs (maybe wheat germ)
2T vinegar
EnerG egg replacer equivalent to 2 eggs
2T flour
Black pepper
Preheat oven to 350. Saute the onion, celery, garlic, sage. Place in large bowl. Combine all remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix well. Spray a loaf pan and pour mixture in. Press down. Bake 30 minutes covered, 10 uncovered. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting. You may want to make a vegan gravy for it too.

My grandmother's creamed onions. I make them every year. Start with six pounds of small white boiler onions. Oh my god they're good.

I love Tofrukey and tofu pumpkin pie

green bean casserole and dressing.
that's pretty much my dinner for this thanks given and probably a pieces of fish.
