I see where Smucker's Marshmallow Icecream Topping is on the list of foods that are vegan.?!

Question: Can this be used as a topping for candied sweet potatoes? I noticed that vegan marshmallows are hard to find (except for online and it's a bit late now, but I wouldn't pay for shipping that one item anyway).

While solid marshmallows usually contain gelatin ( a meat byproduct), soft marshmallow toppings and fluff usually do not have gelatin, just sugar and egg whites mostly. Check the label when you buy it. It should work fine as a casserole topping.

Gottta pay to play, baby cheetah. Veganism is an affluent mental disease. Likely because they feel they have to do something from their perch on the 10% of the world's wealth to alleviate the suffering of others and do some form of armchair philanthropy. If you are rich enough to play, you are rich enough to pay...for dem there $20 (+S&H) Smucker's marshmallowy toppings son.

I suggest you don't put either on perfectly good sweet potatoes.

If you are a vegan then you don't want to buy this. Here's why:

Ingredients
HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, WATER, CORN STARCH-MODIFIED, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF: CELLULOSE GEL, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (COLOR), ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, POTASSIUM SORBATE (PRESERVATIVE), CELLULOSE GUM, BLUE 2 LAKE.
