So Many Vegan Questions 1 after another annoying to a Vegetarian! Vegans should have there own category right?!

Question: I am a Vegetarian and I can't answer most of the Vegan questions.. I can answer most of the vegetarian ones!. When there are lots of Vegan questions there should be a category just for the Vegans! don't you agree? at least a sub of the vegetarian vegan.. in other words in could be a seperate category within the vegetarian area rather that mixed and vegetarians should be able to skip over the vegan questions if they choose to!
I'm a vegetarian not a vegan. I don't eat much eggs just a few a month! I don't drink much dairy milk I only get that when it's cheaper that non-dairy milks. Non-dairy milks taste better than dairy milk!
Vegans have weird questions like how do you make vegan chocolate? You don't Vegans can use carob! Oh I like carob better than chocolate too but then not a fan of chocolate in1st place. Note I say chocolate is ok.. I don't hate it! It tastes good just not great! Why not a seperate vegan area? ( Vegans can be almost as annoying as meat trolls!)

I don't think that would be particularly practical. Y!A can't have a separate room for each and every group/sect/clique/religion/diet/fad/tast... etc. Putting vegetarians and vegans together makes the most sense. If there were two separate rooms, vegans might miss out on questions they could answer in the vegetarian section and vice-versa, because people don't always feel like going back and forth.

As for your annoyance, there are hundreds of questions in this area every day, and I can tell just by the title that three quarters of them don't pertain to me or don't interest me. I can figure out many more from reading the details. Just because a question is asked that you can't answer doesn't mean you should ship a whole group of people to a different area. It's not all about you.

Oh, and "Vegans can be almost as annoying as meat trolls" just for asking the questions we are supposed to ask in the area in which we are supposed to ask them? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Edit: Drat, I thought this was a legitimate question. It turned into troll-like behavior in a hurry.

Your uncle makes shoes out of banana skins too? You're quite the nutjob. Report It

  • There is a vegetarian catagory.

Wow, you do rattle on. So, the world must cater to your every whim? Why don't you put your whining to better use, and get a life. If you are so worried about further seperating vegans, veggies, and meat eaters, then its clear that NOTHING will satisfy you. I suspect if I handed you a plate of lettuce, you would complain about the shade of green it is. Really, arent there more important issues to attend to than weeding out questions about a lifestyle choice similar to your own? Its people like you who make others think veggies are weirdos, and you are helping to prove them right. I am a veg, and could give a fig less who posts here. Get over yourself

They put them together because they are so closely related. I know they aren't the same, but they are the same concept--no meat. It would be silly to put them into different categories.

Sounds like someone is just on a rant.

I just HAD to add this:
Let's see, first you say "vegans can be almost as annoying as meat trolls". Then you say at the bottom of your added details "I don't insult anyone! There's no excuse for insults!" Can you say H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E?

I think its ok, both groups share some common ground.

I wish i could find time to be annoyed by this, unfortunately I've so much other stuff to worry about.

Looking at the 10 questions preceeding yours we find the topics to be:

    Unrelated: 2 ( Fish + horticulture )
    Veggie 6
    Vegan 2

whats the problem, other than the fact that you are on the wrong internet tarrif ?

Why don't you just look at the questions that are vegetarian questions? It's NOT that difficult...just look at the titles. If you are incapable of telling whether or not it is a Vegan question 90% of the time, then I don't know what to tell you.

This is probably one of the most ridiculous questions I've encountered on this board.

If you think Vegans ask WEIRD questions, how do you explain this question YOU asked recently...talk about WEIRD!

This is such a stupid post I am almost embarrassed I am responding to it....

Obviously they put the two together because they have similar backgrounds silly.

And in regards to the vegan questions: its simple, just don't answer them.

Also in response to your comment;"vegans can be just as annoying at meat trolls." Mundane posts such as these are probably even more annoying.

Maybe the people who think that plants will get "meat disease" from being fertilized with cow poop or perhaps the inventor of the "mushroom manure" concept should have their own categories too.

Besides, there's more than enough room for both vegan and vegetarian questions here. Just skip the vegan questions.

    Hon, vegans ARE vegetarians.

If you don't like the vegan questions, then don't answer them. But EVERYONE eats vegan-friendly food. Just not vice versa.

    Edit: Nevermind. Troll. *rolleyes*

Cookie me here----you blocked my ID. It certainly doesn't prevent my access to you. I did cut and paste to save the answer I gave with the other ID though. I'll be sure to drag it out when I need it.
