I started off 11 years ago by just having the same meals as my family, just with the meat taken out. A few years after I started trying out meat substitutes like Quorn and Linda McCartney, which are quite common in the UK (I don't know where you are but I'm fairly certain there are equivalents worldwide nowadays). They do vegetarian fillets, sausages, lasagnes, shepherds' pies, burgers, nuggets... the list is practically endless! And I know meat eaters who even prefer them to meat so they can't be too bad!

If you're going to be a strict vegetarian watch out for cheeses that aren't labelled vegetarian as they contain an ingredient called rennet made from the stomachs of calves.

Chocolate can also contain whey powder from cheeses that use such rennet, so make sure it is labelled vegetarian.

Chewy sweets like Haribo's often contain ligaments, bones and skin of animals, an ingredient called gelatine, so make sure your chewy sweets are labelled vegetarian.

E120, a colour called carmine or cochineal is made from crushed beetles. There are other non-vegetarian colours as well but that's the most common one. To make it simple I now just stick to products labelled as vegetarian or whose manufacturer's I've asked as to their vegetarian status.

ok

Why don't you eat breakfast and lunch? How do you live?

Pasta and veggies, yum my fav! You can go to allrecipies.com and they'll have lots of ideas for you.

talk to your parents .make them try some vegetable stuff.it always work for me.if they wont try just calm down and try again.

Not eating breakfast and lunch is not a good idea. Especially if you're vegetarian. You need to find the nutrients you get from meat, and to do this, you must eat all three meals a day, or else you may not have enough of the nutrients you need. To see what you should eat, go to mypyramid.gov.

Why don't you eat breakfast or lunch? I love Soy shakes in the morning...you mix silken tofu, some soy milk, a banana, some cocoa powder and some honey in a blender...it's delicious. You should try it. Sushi is great (think rice, not fish) I always have vegetarian rolls. Cucumber, Avacado and Asparagus is one of my favorites. What about PIZZA? (Thank God you allow dairy!)

okay, so you want to be vegan? that's what it sounds like. because i dont eat any beef, poultry, fish, or pork and i'm a vegetarian. taking it to the next level sounds like you want to be vegan, am i right? that means you dont eat or use anything that comes from an animal. that includes leather, suede, fur. and also vegans dont go to events (such as a circus or rodeo) that exploits animals.
i'm not a vegan, so i cant give you vegan recipes, but there are vegan cookbooks out there. just make sure you're giving yourself the nutrients your body needs to function.

First I'm just gonna say that lacto-ovovegetarians are called VEGAN. If you like portabello mushrooms, they are good to use because the really make you full like meat.

Google can help you out but i cant. Just look up vegetarian recipes on google search

my advice dont go on to the next level i know some people who did it stuffed them up big time.

you should eat breakfast at least. That isn't healthy to go all day not eating then on top of that not eating meat. You should consult with a dr.

well find a way to have both. like make a breakfast shake and for lunch make a veg Burger. if u don't eat u going to make your self sick and in up in the er or something

its never good to skip lunch and breakfast. at least dont skip breakfast but anyways you could always make some vegetable soup or you can have a nice salad. they actually have cook books for vegetarians so maybe you could buy one ^.^

I say skip recipes altogether and eat nuts and fresh fruits and vegetables. Easy. Personally, I dont like the taste of meat, so I think imitation meat products taste gross.

Vegetarian recipe sites theres alot of vegan recipes on em too.-
